The Seven Star Crags are located in the centre of Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province, China. They are situated in or around Star Lake, directly across from Paifang Square in downtown Zhaoqing. The area, including the Seven Star Crags and Star Lake, covers about 8 km².
The Century Lotus Stadium, located in Foshan, China, opened in 2006. The stadium is primarily used for track and field events and football games. With its spherical shape and distinctive white-layered roof, the stadium is designed to resemble a lotus flower in bloom.
The Symphony Ferris Wheel is situated in Zhongshan’s Xingzhong Square. It is one of Zhongshan City’s most famous landmarks. At a total height of 108 metres and with 36 transparent cabins, each cabin can accommodate 6-8 people. The cabins are all equipped with air-conditioning. One rotation takes about 20 minutes.
The Donghua Bridge connects the North and the South end of Jiangmen. The completion of the Donghua Bridge and other transport infrastructure projects provide higher mobility to people living and working in Jiangmen.
Jintai Temple is a landmark for religious activities in Guangdong Province. The temple was initially constructed in the Song dynasty. In 1992, it was relocated and rebuilt at the southern side of Huangyang Mountain, a site surrounded by green hills and a clear reservoir.
The Moorish Barracks feature a unique blend of Arabian and Gothic architecture, with the exterior of the building painted in yellow and white. In 2005, the barracks were designated as a historical site as part of the Historic Centre of Macao, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Hong Kong West Kowloon Station is the Hong Kong section of the Guangzhou–Shenzhen–Hong Kong Express Rail Link (XRL). The station is also connected to the MTR West Rail Line Austin Station and Tung Chung Line. The total floor area is about 400,000 square metres, making it one of the world’s largest underground railway stations.
Futian Station is a station of the Guangzhou–Shenzhen–Hong Kong Express Rail Link. The station opened on 28 June 2011 serving as one of the stations in the Shenzhen Metro. In 2019, the ‘5G+AI’ experience zone on the first floor was opened to visitors.
Located in Dongguan City, the Yulan Theatre was established in 2005. It consists of a large theatre with 1600 seats and a multi-functional small theatre with 400 seats. Its overall appearance resembles a flamenco dancing skirt. This unique design was created by Carlos Ott.
Double Moon Bay is in the coastal area of Huidong County. It consists of two bays, two half-moons adjacent to Daya Bay and Honghai Bay. It is surrounded by the sea on three sides, and is called Double Moon Bay because of its bird’s eye view.
The Canton Tower, located in Guangzhou, China, is a multi-purpose observation tower that stands 604 metres tall. The tower was completed in 2010 and was inaugurated during the opening ceremony of the 2010 Asian Games. At the time of its completion, it briefly held the title of the world’s tallest tower, before being surpassed by the Tokyo Skytree in Japan.
