  1. Keen on (adj. phr.): very interested and eager to do something

    e.g.
    A number of young people are keen on (熱衷於) alpine skiing (高山滑雪) for the reason that it can bring them excitement (刺激感) and a sense of achievement (成就).

  2. Aspire (v.): to have a strong desire to achieve something

    e.g.
    Athletes (運動員) who participate in the Olympic Games aspire (渴望) to excel (表現出色) in the competitions.

  3. Potential (n.): someone’s or something’s ability to develop, achieve, or succeed

    e.g.
    The coach gave the swimmers who were going to compete (參加比賽) in the freestyle (自由泳) some intense (高強度的) training to improve their skills and develop their potential (潛力).

  4. Triumph (n.): a very great success, achievement, or victory

    e.g.
    The volleyball team gained a major triumph (勝利) in this tournament (聯賽) by virtue of (憑藉) their impressive (令人欽佩的) spiking (扣球) technique and excellent coordination.

  5. Medalist (n.): a person who has won a medal in sport

    e.g.
    The medalists (獎牌獲得者) expressed their gratitude (感激) to their families and coaches in interviews after the skeleton (俯式冰橇) race.

  6. Regimen (n.): a set of rules about food and exercise or medical treatment that you follow in order to stay healthy or to improve your health

    e.g.
    After receiving treatments (治療) for several months, he has finally recovered (恢復) from the injury and his training regimens (生活規則) are back to normal (正常的).
