Behave
(v.): to be good by acting in a way that has society's approval
e.g.
To learn to
behave (舉止端正) yourselves, we should treat our teachers
courteously (有禮貌地), appreciate and learn from our classmates with positive
attitudes (態度).
Perplexed
(adj.): feeling confused because something is not understood
e.g.
The naughty boy suddenly started to throw things at her. The boy’s behavior made her
perplexed (困惑的).
Reckless
(adj.): doing something without thinking about its results
e.g.
That rich kid
looked down on (看不起) those street
vendors (小販) and
deliberately (故意)
smashed (打碎) their goods. This was posted online, and more and more
netizens (網民) thought he had to apologize for his
reckless (魯莽的) behavior.
Disregard
(v.): to show no care or respect for someone or something
e.g.
When you travel in a foreign country,
disregarding (漠視) the local
customs (風俗) can lead to the
perception (看法) that you are
disrespectful (不尊重的) to others.
Misunderstanding
(n.): a situation in which a comment, an instruction, etc. is not understood correctly
e.g.

Etiquette
(n.): the set of rules or custom governing how people behave
e.g.

sign (象徵) of friendship, but it is
rarely (甚少地) seen in Eastern countries.
Polite
(adj.): behaving in a way that is socially correct and care for other people’s feelings
e.g.

reception (接待處) staff are very
polite (彬彬有禮的) to the guests. They offer help
actively (主動地) and answer questions
patiently (耐心地).
