  1. Soothing (adj.): making you feel calm

    e.g.
    People are listening to relaxing music when doing yoga (瑜伽). They think that it has a soothing (使人平靜的) effect (作用).

  2. Duet (n.): a piece of music for two players or singers

    e.g.
    Some music lovers think that a duet (二重奏) is more interesting than a solo (獨奏) because a duet requires (要求) cooperation (合作) and teamwork.

  3. Occupied (adj.): busy or interested

    e.g.
    The boys always keep themselves occupied (忙於) at weekends. Sometimes, they go geocaching (使用全球定位系統搜尋獎品的一種活動). At other times, they make slime (俗稱「鬼口水」的半固體的玩具).

  4. Passion (n.): an extreme interest in or wish for doing something

    e.g.
    The school-leaver (中學畢業生) chose to pursue (追求) his passion (熱愛) for painting even though it is difficult to make a living (謀生) as a painter in Hong Kong.

  5. Piano keys (n. phr.): any of the wooden or metal parts that you press to play a musical instrument

    e.g.
    The young pianist (鋼琴家) was so in love with the piano that he enjoyed the pleasant (令人愉快的) sound every time he touched the piano keys (鋼琴鍵).
